The Dumfries Learning Town project is about planning and delivering primary and post primary education services on a ‘whole town’ basis and not simply viewing schools individually. Woolgar Hunter is part of the design team on the proposed redevelopment of Dumfries & Galloway’s school’s portfolio.
The North West Campus is a £28m project which involves a significant development within the North West of Dumfries with a new build 3 – 18 school campus bringing together Maxwelltown High School, Lochside and St Ninian’s Primary and Nursery as one new school and co locating Langlands School.
We are providing Civil, Structural and Geo-environmental engineering design on this brownfield site. The new combined school, comprises of the construction of a combined primary, ASN and secondary school building, along with associated infrastructure including; car parking, playground, MUGA and sports pitches.
